Concert Chorale*

Audition Requirements:
- Prepare a short hymn or art song
- Sight-reading example will be provided
- Warm-ups and vocalizes will be sung to gain understanding of singer's range, tone, and vocal quality.
CSMGA Ensembles:
Concert Chorale*
The Choral Society of Middle Georgia holds auditions for its Concert Chorale every fall and spring for singers of all voice parts. Singers are strongly encouraged to be able to make a year-long commitment if they are selected to be a part of the group. Auditions are conducted in a group setting, and vocalises, scales, and some basic sight-reading.
Chamber Singers
Auditions are held every fall for the Chamber Singers group. You must be a member of the Concert Chorale to be eligible for this group. Private auditions are scheduled for each interested singer, which includes a prepared piece, vocalization, and sight-reading.
*Dues for Membership
Annual dues are $100 for an individual. Music must also be purchased or borrowed from the music library (based on availability). Some need-based scholarships are available.
